Ever since Rexroth extended the performance range of its roller rail systems by adding size 100 and 125 solutions to the product range, more and more producers in the heavy machinery and engineering industry have made the transition to state-of-the-art antifriction bearing technology. In applications such as forming systems, heavy-duty metal cutting and handling systems for heavy loads, roller rail systems reduce friction by up to 90 percent compared to conventional slideways. This important performance advantage plus reduced assembly costs reduce machine manufacturing costs and significantly enhance precision.

Size 100 has a static load capacity of up to 1,218 kN. The dynamic load capacity with long runner blocks is 632 kN, which is equivalent to the maximum take-off weight of an Airbus 318.

Size 125 roller rail systems have a dynamic load capacity of up to 1,000 kN, and the static load capacity is even higher at 2,000 kN, which is equivalent to the weight of 200 cars.
